WABA President Robin Dalton spoke to Diversity concerns in Wisconsin's law schools, bar associations and law firms at the State Bar Leadership Development Summit.

A special thanks to Nathan Raygor who hosted our first WABA Pancake and Packer party last weekend.

WABA and ALSA cosponsored a spring networking event at Marquette Law School. This was a great success with lots of new WABA and ALSA members in attendance as well as delicious sushi from Izumi.

WABA member Kashoua Yang has helped iniate a monthly bilingual Free Brief Legal Advice Clinic for the Asian American Community here in Wisconsin. For more information click here.

WAAL (Wisc. Ass. of African-American Lawyers) has invited dues paid WABA members to a networking event and Diversity Dialog presentation in Milwaukee.

WABA held our summer meeting in conjunction with our Summer Picnic. It was a beautiful day with delicious food. Thanks to everyone who brought their lovely families.

WABA put on a Spring Networking event at Cubanitas in Milwaukee. It was great to see so many of Wisconsin's Asian American attorney's in one place. Thanks to Notesong who really made the event a successs.

Congratulations to ALSA's (Asian Law Student Assocation of Marquette) first WABA Scholarship Winner Alex Hu-Kuebelbeck! Alex not only wrote an outstanding essay but also has demonstrated strong leadership at Marquette. We look forward to his future sucessess.

WABA cosponsored a Spring Social with MELSA and APALSA/SALSA (UW Madison's Asian Law Student Groups) at Merchant in Madison. The event was a huge sucess and coincided with LEO weekend. It was great to meet so many up and coming talented Asian American attorneys.
