WABA is an active and diverse organization.

WABA was founded in 2003 by a few law students and attorneys who wanted to establish an Asian Bar Association with a multicultural perspective and membership base. There were a few reasons for starting such an organization. First, there was no statewide organization that supported Asian attorneys in Wisconsin. Second, the number of Asian law students graduating from Wisconsin’s law schools had and continue to increase dramatically. Finally, we needed an organization that would support these graduates and encourage them to remain in Wisconsin.

WABA is still a fairly new Bar Association and continues to grow and change each year. We are always welcome to new ideas and encourage anyone to join or just come to a meeting.

WABA Board Members are:

Attorney Robin Dalton, President
Attorney Alia Rouf, Vice President
Attorney Nancy Vue, Treasurer
Attorney Jenna Smith, Secretary
